We are getting to old for this …. this was my first thought when I woke up this morning. What a week, so many dinners, late days in the office and ending the week in a double bash proved to be very difficult for my body, mind and soul. After recouping myself I managed to drag Charlotte out of bed and drive to Camberley to have brunch. After parking the car we decided to walk through the local mall which to our surprise had very good mix of store proposition. It turns out that we had walked on the other side of the mall which had far less offering in terms of stores/selection, after finding GAME, HMV, NEXT, Esprit, River Island, JJB Sports, Tony&Guy, a Dry Cleaner, Starbucks, Pizza Express, Zizzi, the VUE cinemas, a Bowling Complex, Frankie and Bennies, Bar Estilo, Chiquito, Bella Italia, The Real China, Prezzo as well as a number of local pubs and coffee houses, I must say that we were pleasantly surprised.
We headed out to Chiquito which is a mexican restaurant chain and what a fantastic place it was, typical chain in terms of the food and the service was in line with that, but great food at a good price. After a good meal we had a cup of Starbucks and headed out to our new property to make a snagging list.
A snagging list is a list which contains all the issues you can possibly find that you feel that need to be redone or fixed. As this is a new development the company fixes all of these things without any extra cost to us and will continue to do so for the first 12 months. So we made a 15 page list for them to look at before we make another visit next week.
After a successful trip we headed back to the house and relaxed a bit before a hectic week at work and a trip to Iceland to spend the weekend with Kristjan, Berglind and Fanney.
